A lived, working space
THE FLOOR brings residential life, studio practice and project space together. I welcome artists for stays and provide shared creative areas, while keeping the home context and the residency offer clear.
journal / artist-led spatial practice
THE FLOOR is my own artist-led brand, concept and cultural programme in the property sector. It brings an artist residency, my home and studio, and a project room together in Berlin. It is connected to Countercult but remains distinct.
THE FLOOR brings residential life, studio practice and project space together. I welcome artists for stays and provide shared creative areas, while keeping the home context and the residency offer clear.
I own and shape THE FLOOR as an artist-led brand and programme. The residency, shared studio and project room give that concept a lived setting. I host artist stays and occasional invitation-only salon nights, and have connected the programme with 48 Stunden Neukölln, Klunkerkranich and StickerApp.
THE FLOOR is my place-based cultural programme, not a Countercult product or commercial venue. Countercult provides a separate public network and technology layer. The relationship connects cultural infrastructure to a lived place without merging the two identities.
I develop the conditions, relationships and programme through which artists can live, work and meet. THE FLOOR is not simply a room I host. It is a concept and artist-led platform for cultural work, developed through its residency, space and public collaborations.
