Countercult Fund: every sale grows a budget for local creative work

The Countercult Fund helps a business build a marketing budget one sale at a time. An agreed culture-euro amount is added to selected products; as customers buy them, the Fund grows. Before starting, the business and Countercult agree how those sales and contributions will be recorded.

You already have a business to run. Countercult is the artist-run partner that brings the trust, curation, logistics, and experience to turn that growing budget into relevant marketing or experiences. We shape the brief, find and commission local artists, and manage delivery so the business does not have to build a cultural programme from scratch.

This is not a donation pool or grant directory. It is a practical way to connect everyday sales to useful business marketing and paid cultural work, circulating more value locally through an ethical, circular economy.

What the Fund supports now

Selected product sales can grow a budget for a campaign, event, experience, or other marketing work the business needs. Countercult curates artists and cultural workers whose skills and context fit the brief, then coordinates the people, production, logistics, and delivery. The commission pays the local cultural workers who make the work.

What the Fund can become

Over time, the Fund can support repeat commissioning, ledgers, transparent allocation, payouts, working capital, licensed financial partnerships, cultural procurement, and measurable local outcomes. Countercult is building toward that financial infrastructure without claiming to be a bank today.

Why this matters

The creator economy needs reliable demand as well as talent. When a culture-euro amount on selected products grows a marketing budget sale by sale, business activity can create a clearer route to repeat creative work. Countercult brings the experience to make commissioning easier for the business and more connected to the place it serves.
