On-the-Ground Talent and Production for Experiential Agencies
Need local artists, producers, or production support for an experiential project in Berlin? Countercult Studios can build a team around a defined brief.
An experiential agency can have a strong campaign idea and still need people on the ground who understand the place. That may mean finding local artists, makers, technicians, producers, or crew, then coordinating their roles with the wider production.
Countercult Studios works alongside agencies on defined projects. We bring local talent sourcing, cultural context, and production coordination into the delivery team. The agency can continue to lead its client relationship and campaign; our role is to support the parts that need local knowledge and relationships.
What local production support can include
- Sourcing and coordinating artists, creative and technical specialists, makers, and local producers for a defined brief.
- Connecting a campaign team with local context before the concept and production plan are locked.
- Agreeing contributor roles, rates, credit, usage, and production responsibilities before work begins.
- Supporting cultural programming, curation, or on-the-ground production when those are part of the project scope.
Countercult is not selling access to an unfiltered contact list. We build the network through real work and make introductions for projects where there is a clear role, scope, and offer for the people involved.
Where we can help
Berlin is the clearest base for this work. Countercult has curated local creative talent for FOMO Berlin and connected local talent with a Berlin production. The network has also supported last-minute sourcing across Berlin and Amsterdam. Each brief is assessed on location, timing, skills needed, and the people who are actually available.
We do not claim the same local coverage in every city. If a project is elsewhere, we can discuss what relationships already exist and what would need to be researched or built before promising delivery.
What to include in your enquiry
- City, venue, dates, and production timeline.
- The campaign goal and the parts of the concept that are still open to change.
- The roles or skills you need, and which decisions Countercult or local collaborators can shape.
- Budget range, fees, travel, production costs, and payment timing.
- Credit, image use, usage rights, and who will manage approvals.
The clearer the brief, the easier it is to decide whether local sourcing, cultural input, production support, or a combination of them is the right fit.

How this Journal is made: Countercult publishes writing from years of work across independent culture, local economies, artist-led technology, and place. These essays, field notes, guides, and case studies make that knowledge useful and help artists, operators, and commissioners find one another. The Journal is human-authored; AI supports infrastructure, not authorship or artists' work. We welcome original reporting and pitches from journalists and independent publishers.
